Curtis Alden-Senior Instructor / Sifu
Curtis Alden is a Senior Instructor at the Houston and Katy/Richmond locations:
Curtis Alden is a career educator and has been working in the Texas public school system for over 30 years. Curtis Alden began his study of martial arts learning Taekwondo and transitioned to Wing Chun in 2004 as a formal student of SiFu Dustan Carroll. When SiFu Carroll moved to Alabama in 2007 Curtis Alden continued to study, train, and promote Wing Chun at the Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy under SiFu James Sasitorn and promoted to Senior Instructor in 2009. With focus on teaching close range combat, surprise attacks, and multiple attacker situations. He teaches both public and private lessons, and is considered a mentor for all his juniors in both the Houston, Texas and Huntsville, Alabama Wing Chun Pai(family).

Dr. Gerald George Mannikarote - Junior Instructor
Dr. Gerald George Mannikarote (Jerry) began his martial arts training when he was a child with American Karate and Tae Kwon Do. After watching “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story” while in college, Dr Jerry was determined to learn Bruce Lee’s style of martial arts. In pursuit of this style, he began his training in martial arts as an adult with Grandmaster Maing Yul Jung where he learned Tai Chi, Shaolin Style Wu Shu, and Ba Gua. Dr Jerry studied under Grandmaster Jung for 3 years and ultimately receiving a black belt in Grandmaster Jung’s School.
In 2011, Dr Jerry began his training in Wing Chun under the tutelage of Sifu James Sasitorn. He continued his education and training of Wing Chun under Sifu Curtis Alden and was accepted as a formal student of Sifu Alden in 2020.
Dr Jerry is a medical doctor and an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. With his education and background, he understands body mechanics and general fitness. He enjoys the promotion of health and wellness through martial arts and especially the practical aspects of Wing Chun. He has the utmost respect for all martial arts and martial artists. He is grateful to Sifu Curtis Alden and Sifu James Sasitorn.

Jacob Brisse- Junior Instructor
Jacob Brisse is a freelance videographer and marketing consultant. He began learning Wing Chun in 2012 under Sifu James Sasitorn. After moving to Ohio, he returned to Houston to continue his training in Wing Chun, and became a student of Sifu Curtis Alden. He was accepted as a formal disciple of Sifu Alden in 2020.

Ryan Briceno is a junior instructor at the Houston and Katy/Richmond Locations. Ryan's martial arts experience is comprised of Ki-aikido, American kempo, and wing chun. Ryan started training with SiFu James Sasitorn in 2011 until 2014. after 2 years in college Ryan returned to become a formal student of SiFu Alden in 2016 and a junior instructor.
